Keeping Up

I relapsed. I think I picked the worst time to quit smoking. I have anxiety about being around people I don't know, and school started yesterday :(

I had a psychotic fit Monday night and ended up smoking. Then the whole quitting smoking thing went out the window.

I will keep trying, maybe labor day weekend when I have three days and I can be alone.

I haven't been knitting a whole lot. I've been doing more frogging than actual knitting :(

I'm planning on trying again at 2 at a time socks. I divided one 100g ball into two, just to make life easier.

I haven't decided on a pattern yet.

I was working on a quitting smoking scarf, it was a beautiful pattern, but the person who made it did not include the edge stitches on the chart. It was a triangle scarf, from the tip up, but without edge stitches, it made it impossible for me to figure out :(

Things are not going my way at the moment, but I will just go with the tides.

  1. Aw, sorry you're having a rough week. Hope it gets better.

I haven't tried 2AAT socks yet. It sounds appealing (no more SSS!) but I find it a bit hard to wrap my mind around. I recently knit a sweater while alternating 4 balls of yarn and it about drove me batty, so anything that might require untangling yarn is out the window at the present...

  2. I think that all smokers can say that it takes a bunch of tries to actually quit smoking. It sucks to shout from the rooftops "I QUIT SMOKING" and then keep on, but people understand. Quitting sucks. It's hard. Keep trying and you'll do it!
